Assisting Clients With Medication
Assisting Clients With Medication
About this Unit
The Assisting Clients with Medication Training Course gives disability support workers the basic knowledge and skills to understand some medicines and how they can be taken. It also covers common side effects and how to handle medication incidents. Our nurse educators will teach support workers how to safely help clients use a dose administration aid (DAA).
Our Health Care
Our Health Care programs are only ever conducted by either a nurse or a paramedic. There can be no better trainer than one who has “lived” the experience. As a trusted health professional, they will teach the ‘why’ of your course and are committed to your learning. This program provides support workers with the essential knowledge and skills to understand medicines and ways in which they can be taken. Premium Health offers both face-to-face delivery and online live training. Courses are available onsite at your venue, online Australia wide or at our public course venue.
